At CANN, we specialize in providing advanced harvesting solutions and expert guidance to the industrial hemp market. We proudly manufacture the DoubleCut harvester, built on John Deere combines. This cutting-edge technology enables the simultaneous harvest and separation of grain, leaves, and stems in a single pass, optimizing efficiency for hemp producers worldwide.
My role and contributions
As part of the CANN team, I focus on promoting our brand and machinery within the international hemp market, fostering relationships with customers and dealers, and creating opportunities for growth.
Key achievements
- Representation and networking: Represented CANN at industry events, demonstrations, and trade shows, connecting with potential clients and strengthening our international presence.
- Social media impact: Developed engaging content for our LinkedIn page, increasing visibility and awareness of CANN’s innovative solutions.
- Demo tours: Organized and executed demonstration tours across Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands in partnership with other companies. The 2023 tour visited six locations across two countries, attracting global interest and media attention, including coverage on national TV, regional stations, newspapers, and agricultural magazines.
- Ministerial engagement: Arranged a unique opportunity for the Dutch Minister of Agriculture to experience hemp harvesting firsthand, showcasing the DoubleCut’s capabilities in a dynamic and scenic setting with 4-meter-high crops harvested at speeds of 12 km/h.
- Creative problem-solving: Applied creativity and resourcefulness to identify and seize opportunities, enhancing CANN’s reach and reputation in the hemp sector.
